Chairman, CIL receiving the "CEO with HR Orientation" Award

Mr. Partha S Bhattacharyya, Chairman, Coal India Limited, the Navratna Public Sector coal mining giant was conferred with 'CEO with HR Orientation' award by Council of World HRD Congress during the Global HR Excellence Awards Ceremony 2010 held in Mumbai on 12th February, 2010. Incidentally, CIL the manpower intensive industry is the largest corporate employer having employee strength of over 4 Lakhs.
The award was presented by Mr. Jigmy Y Thinley, Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bhutan and Mr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. Shri R Mohan Das, Director (Personnel & Industrial Relations) CIL was also present during the ceremony.
